By the end of the 19th years numerous creative persons felt a need to conceive a new kind of art which would encompass the fundamental alterations taking location in expertise, science and philosophy. The causes from which one-by-one creative persons drew their theoretical contentions were varied, and echoed the communal and intellectual preoccupations in all localities of Western culture at that time.
